Originally from the Little Rock area, Will and his wife lived in Denver, CO for 10 years before moving back to the area in 2021 with their 3 children. Will has always been interested in woodworking and furniture design as a hobby and in 2011 had the opportunity to learn from an expert cane and rush repairman. Cane and rush is the historic art of weaving chairs and other pieces of furniture with ratan and rushes. After several years working in cane and rush, Will helped run a small repair business that served clients all over Colorado. He was excited to learn how to repair a wide variety of furniture and architectural pieces.

While living in Denver Will also made connections with individuals and vintage shops, restoring a wide range of antique and vintage furniture. He and a friend opened an antique retail booth and enjoyed looking for midcentury pieces at estate sales and thrift stores.

In 2021 Will and his wife Lauren moved back to Little Rock to be closer to family. Since being in Little Rock, he has made a lot of connections, repairing furniture for individuals and companies. Will also teaches and is involved with the Historic Arkansas Museum’s living history demonstrations once a month. He has taught furniture restoration and caning classes

When he’s not restoring furniture you can find Will searching thrift shops and estate sales, listening to and playing music, being outside in nature and staying busy with his 3 kids!
